Beth Baptist joined the Curry School Foundation Board of Directors in 2002 

Beth serves Charlottesville City Schools as the Director of Special Education and Student Services. She graduated from the Curry School of Education with her Ed.D. in 1989.  In addition, Beth holds a B.A. from Limestone College (1976), an M.Ed. from Winthrop University (1977), and a C.A.S. from Old Dominion University (1986).  She has been an adjunct instruction for the University of Virginia since 1990 and for Patrick Henry Community College since 1992.

Beth is a member of the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development, Phi Delta Kappa, and the Region V Directors of Special Education.
