Peter Buchanan joined the Curry School Foundation Board of Directors in 2001

Peter is a fundraising consultant, associated with Washburn & McGoldrick, Inc., in Latham, New York. He worked for a number of years at Columbia University, first as Vice President for University Development and Alumni Relations then as Director. He then moved on to become Director of Continuing Education and Assistant Dean for Development at Columbia Business School. He has also worked as president and chief executive officer of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

Peter earned his B.A. at Cornell University, his M.B.A. at Columbia University, and his Ed.D. from Columbia University. He currently resides in Charlottesville.
