Mary-Scott Birdsall joined the
Mary-Scott is a 1966 graduate of the Curry School of Education and a devoted supporter of the University of Virginia. She is a member of University's Council for the Arts and, since 1991, has participated in various volunteer activities with The Jefferson Scholars Foundation. Additional University interests have included the Commonwealth Center for Literary and Cultural Change, the Rotunda Society Annual Giving Advisory Board, the American Sign Language Program, and the Under Fives Study Center.
Mary-Scott also serves on the board of the Martha Jefferson House, a retirement residence within walking distance of the Lawn. She resides in Albemarle County.
