Software Request
Curry Labs & Classrooms Software Needs |

Curry's Educational Technologies Office (ETO) maintains teacher workstations in 12 Ruffner classrooms (including the three sections of the auditorium), one computer lab (209) and 2 mobile laptop carts (18 laptops in each cart). Five Ruffner classrooms are maintained by U.Va.'s ITC (see below). At certain times during the year Curry Labs and Classrooms personnel start preparing for faculty members' teaching needs by soliciting requests and refreshing the software on Curry classroom computers. This software may vary according to specific needs. As the next semester approaches, this site will be updated with deadlines for software requests. When that time comes, please use the form link below: ITC software request form (page includes deadlines for each term) The ITC classrooms are the 5 large rooms with a unified classroom software load on them. The installation of software on these computers is controlled by the ITC software group. These rooms are: 175, 187, 223, 281, and 283. Normally, any software that is not part of the ITC software load is not installed on the computers in these rooms. If you would like to see what is currently on these computers or request additions to the software, please contact ITC using the following links: Current software:http://www.itc.virginia.edu/labs/listClassrooms.php
