Doctoral Minors - Instructional Technology

All doctoral minors are designed in consultation with the student's program committee and with an IT faculty member.

Course Requirements:
The four courses (16 units) chosen for the minor may include courses from the core IT curriculum.
Recommended courses include:

EDLF 704: Seminar in Instructional Technology (3)
EDLF 700: Introduction to Instructional Design (3)
EDES 589: Section 1 Introduction to Digital Media Manipulation (3)
EDES 589: Section 2 Educational Telecomputing and Networks (3)
EDLF 562: Educational Video Production (3)
EDLF 586: Museums in Education (3)
EDES 789: Computers in Qualitative Analysis (3)

Note: Doctoral minors may take EDLF 700: Introduction to Instructional Design during the summer. If summer enrollment is not possible, select another IT course with your minor area advisor.
