    I. Introduction

Welcome to the Content Literacy Information Consortium (CLIC) Web site. This site is being constructed as a resource for undergraduate and graduate education students, as well as practicing teachers. The focus of this site is on literacy issues related to content disciplines. We have included links to other useful web sites, professional papers, lesson plans, as well as outstanding examples of work from students associated with the Consortium. The Page is under continuous construction, and your suggestions and contributions are welcomed. Please email us using the mail button at the end of the introduction section.

This site is the work of a consortium of professional educators from universities nationwide. The architects and associates teach, research and write about issues related to literacy, content knowledge and education. Biographical information can be attained by clicking on the names below.
