Summary and Suggestions:

The possibilities are virtually endless with this web-site. Use it to show your students that algebra does actually get used in the "real world". Students can use the site to exchange currencies and then create equations (formulas) to demonstrate how the computer found the answer (in other words, the students come up with the exchange rates given an example or two). What a great opportunity to develop algebraic language skills while dealing with an innately fun and interesting topic: the almighty dollar.
