Summary and Suggestions: |
Professor Freedman encourages her students to create and submit their own math tutorials. They (just who is this they, anyway?) say that we learn best by teaching. If so, here's a wonderful opportunity for your students to learn. Have them select problems from the text and provide a step-by step explanation of the hows and whys of its solution. Use this for equations, inequalities, word problems, polynomials, quadratic equations or any other area that suits your needs. You can even organize the results and create a tutorial library for future use. Use Professor Freedman's site as a guide. |
